OUR OFFER

Why should you care about cybersecurity?

The number of cyberattacks is steadily increasing. In 2021, an increase of 50% was recorded globally.

The average cost of a cyberattack per company is $4.35 million (according to the IBM Security report).

58% of companies in Poland reported at least one incident involving a security breach, while 33% of companies saw an increase in the intensity of cyberattack attempts.

According to the latest report by CERT Polska, in 2022 the number of registered incidents increased by more than 34% compared to the previous year. CERT Polska recorded 25,625 incidents classified as phishing, accounting for 64% of all incidents handled.

The establishment of the Cybersecurity Centre, as a supporting unit of AGH, is a response to the multiplying cyber threats. By integrating AGH's resources and projects, and educational, service and R&D activities, as well as national and international cooperation, we support a cyber-secure future.
